- » How does Noter work?
- Noter is designed for offline use. It saves all of you notes on your iPhone in your Cookies.
Employing high compression it allows for a large amount of data to be stored easily and effortlessly.
As long as you have Noter Pre-Loaded in Safari you may access all of your notes any time even while offline. Noter only needs to load once, it is designed to function without an internet connection.
Your notes are continuously and seamlessly saved as you use Noter.
- » How do I use Sync / What is Sync?

Once you touch "Sync Notes" the options above will appear. Sync notes allow you to send notes into your account. You must be connected to the internet for Syncing to work.
- Touch Send to Send all of the notes on you current system into your account.
- Touch Get to retrieve your notes from your account.
"Get" replaces all of your notes on your iPhone with the notes stored in your account. - » Noter is not working for me!
- The problem is most likely your cookies, either they are disabled, or they need to be cleared. Click here for more help.
- » How do I add your Apps to my Home Screen?
Native apps must be downloaded and synced through the iTunes App Store.
For our web apps, simply navigate to dbelement.com, and tap the app icon. Once the app launches hit the "+" at bottom of the screen
Touch the Add to Home button
Then Touch "Add "
- » How many notes can I add to Noter?
- At the moment Noter has an 18 item limit. This is due to older iPhone firmware having offline storage limitations.
The new firmware (2.1) has fixed this issue. We will be releasing an updated version of Noter very soon which will lift the 18 note limit.
- » Why do my long notes get cut off?
- The older iPhone firmware (firmware prior to 2.0) had an offline storage size limitation.
A new version of Noter will be released very soon taking care of this issue.
As of now, if you want to store large notes we recommend trying out our Reader application. It's designed to store books, documents, and large notes.
- » Are my notes safe?
- All unsynced notes are stored locally on your iPhone.
Once the note is synced it is transfered to our servers.
We know your data is extremely important, we take great care to protect all of your notes. Your synced notes are stored in a secure database, and available to no one but you.
