» How sync works
  • Tap on the Sync Button at the bottom
  • A sync options window will appear.
  • There are two versions of Noter2 one is a Desktop web application the other an iPhone/iPod Touch application.

On your iPhone when you create a fresh note it is stored locally on your iPhone. When you hit "Sync" then "Send" all of the notes which are stored on your iPhone are sent to your dbelement account replacing anything that was there before.

You can access all of your sent notes by navigating to http://dbelement.com/noter2app and logging in with the same account which you used on your iPhone. When you pull up your notes on your computer you can add/edit/remove your notes and lists. On you computer you are interacting with what is stored in your account directly (so no need for a sync button).

Now to retrieve those changes on your iPhone, tap the "Sync" button and hit "Get notes from account". All of the notes on your iPhone are replaced with the ones from your account. If you accidentally hit "Get" you can "Undo Sync" on your iPhone (scroll to the bottom of your list and tap the "Undo Sync" button.)
